Women's Empowerment CenterThis program seeks to empower women and promote self-sufficiency through employment, educational attainment, relationship building, and financial literacy. Interested participants can register for a variety of one-time sessions taught by YWCA staff/volunteers. Sessions will be offered in-person and online and can be done in one-on-one settings or in a group setting. Free childcare and lunch are provided during all in-person sessions. Transportation assistance is also available.

Participants are also eligible to receive support from program staff to find local jobs that meet their interests and abilities, obtain appropriate educational opportunities, find interview attire, and develop individualized plans that identify barriers and solutions to overcoming them.

Women can apply for the program by filling out this registration form. Hard copy registration forms can be mailed upon request; call Tyler Fike at 308-384-9922. Check out the calendar below for our offerings.
